BitMonster co-founder Demond Rogers joins us this week all the way from Raleigh, NC! We applaud him and his game GRAV (you should totally check it out). The panel gets a bit somber as we honor Satoru Iwata with a proper send off but from there it’s back to business as usual. We draw some correlations to a new game called The Flock and it’s unique ideas in the multiplayer space. We take a look at some of the leaked trailers out of Comic Con, the New Horizons probe and it’s ties to the gaming world and the apparently rampant use of Adderall in professional esports. We round it all out with a few final items and wash it all down with some cold beer, ‘natch.
This weeks panel: Joe Erskine, Joe Arroyo, Nikk Golesh, Chris Morris & Demond Rogers
Topics on this episode:
- The Flock is looking to change the way we think about and play multiplayer games.
- Comic Con has come and gone this year, we’ll take a look at the DC, WOW, Deadpool and SW stuff specifically.
- Hey guys remember Pluto? It used to be a planet. The New Horizons probe made its flyby this week as well. Apparently it used a Playstation CPU to do it.
- Counter-Strike players are admitting to using Adderall during pro matches. Hope they like peeing in cups…
